Lesbian Visibility Week 2026 - Show Me What A Lesbian Looks Like
“Show Me What A Lesbian Looks Like” is a celebration, a statement, and an invitation. Created for Lesbian Visibility Week 2026, this production brings together a powerful collection of images that reflect the true diversity of lesbian lives—across cultures, ages, styles and experiences.
There is no single way to “look” like a lesbian, and this project exists to challenge that idea. Instead, it embraces the richness and individuality of our community, highlighting the many ways we show up in the world—bold, soft, joyful, resilient and everything in between. Each image is a reminder that visibility matters, and that being seen can be both empowering and transformative.
Set to a vibrant soundtrack featuring music from Janelle Monáe, Fleur East, and Soul II Soul, the project moves with energy, confidence and soul. The music underscores the spirit of celebration and self-expression that runs throughout, amplifying the voices and presence of those featured.
“Show Me What A Lesbian Looks Like” is more than a visual showcase—it’s a collective moment of pride. It honours our stories, affirms our identities, and celebrates the beauty of living authentically. Above all, it sends a clear message: we are here, we are visible, and there is no one way to be us. 💜
